Miss Alyssa is an absolutely phenomenal speech-language pathologist. I was searching for a private speech therapist after a long wait with our insurance. I am so grateful to have come in contact with Miss Alyssa. My son has made extensive progress with his speech and Miss Alyssa has such a great connection with children to keep them engaged, focused and excited about the lesson. She constantly brings new ideas, new games, etc so my son is never bored and the focus of speech is always the center of the activities. His Pediatrician has noticed the improvement in his speech as well. I highly recommend Leap Speech & Language Therapy. Our entire family couldn't be happier with her services.

We had the pleasure of working with Alyssa thru SDRC. Our toddler, who was about 6 months delayed, worked weekly with her for over a year. Alyssa was professional and engaging. She brought a bag of books and toys which she would switch out to keep our daughter interested. Even when my toddler was being difficult, she did her best to find an activity that she enjoyed while working on her speech. She openly addressed my concerns and gave me tools to help my daughter work on her speech outside of therapy.

Our daughter went from sounding out one syllable words to speaking full sentences. At the end of our sessions, she was evaluated by the SLP for her school district and they determined she was meeting the age appropriate milestones and did not need further speech therapy. I highly recommend Alyssa if you are looking for an SLP!

We love to have Ms. Alyssa over, and my nephew has made so much progress with her! We sought individual, private speech therapy after we weren't seeing the strides we hoped for with our school therapist. I'm so glad we pursued this route, she's made all the difference. He's always excited when she walks in the door, he's really opened up with her.

She pays attention to the things he enjoys and works them into the session to motivate him. You can tell she really has a passion for the field and keeps up-to-date with new research and strategies. I really appreciate that about her! Alyssa skillfully walks the line between gentle and firm, patient yet challenging to encourage growth. We are so grateful to have found her and definitely recommend her services!

We were referred to Alyssa when our former speech therapist had to take medical leave and we wanted someone able to do therapy at home or at a playground, etc. She responded really quickly and has been great to work with! She was very thorough in reviewing the records and previous evaluations that my 4 yr old daughter had received since she had already been in speech therapy for about two years.

We have seen our daughter interact with at least five other speech therapists in clinical and private settings, and no one has connected with her as well as Alyssa. She is patient when our daughter gets a little frustrated or wants to play, and seems to know exactly how much she can ask of her to keep her motivated. We've worked with her at playgrounds and in our home, and I'm really impressed with how naturally she is able to incorporate the sounds we are practicing. Our daughter actually looks forward to her visits, which is amazing since in the past she would shut down and even try to hide from speech therapists.

We feel really lucky to have found Alyssa and are optimistic about the amount of progress our daughter is making already after just a few months!

Alyssa has been working with my 5 year old niece for several months and we quickly noticed a difference in her speech! She's flexible and able to work around our busy schedule. We highly recommend her!

We are so thankful we were able to find Alyssa to work with our 5 year old son. She is truly the best professional we have worked with in our journey to help our son communicate better. She is extremely engaging and playful - willing to go swimming or jump on a trampoline for an hour if that is what engages her client. She is so understanding and accepting during hard moments. She works across techniques and has helped our son vocalize more as well as gain confidence in his communication device. She is happy to collaborate with other professionals, stay longer to provide advice to parents, and flexible in working in whatever environment helps our son. Unfortunately, we have to move and she will be the greatest loss in the process.

If you're looking for an experience that helps both you and your child grow, look no further. Alyssa is great! She has helped us, as parents, learn and better understand how to communicate with our son, allowing us to connect with him in a much better way. Her gentle and understanding approach to teach him how to use his words to communicate to us what he needs, wants and ultimately wants to do next makes us glad we found Alyssa! Strongly recommend!

We first became clients of Leap Speech & Language Therapy in December 2022. In this short time since receiving speech services from Leap, our son has truly blossomed in his ability to communicate. Ms. Alyssa, the Speech Language Pathologist, brings enthusiasm and expertise in engaging our son in student-led and play-based therapy. Our son excitedly awaits each session with Ms. Alyssa. On days when he does not have therapy, he specifically asks for her to come over and play. This is the best part of Ms. Alyssa's approach. Our son has no idea he's receiving therapy. He thinks he's just having fun. We absolutely recommend Leap Speech to any parent.

Alyssa has already made such a difference in our daughter's speech. We're so happy that we decided to supplement school speech therapy with Alyssa's sessions. We've noticed a big improvement in her articulation, and she looks forward to having fun in her session each week!

Alyssa is an exceptional professional. She taught our bilingual son to speak within a year. She was flexible to even meet with him at school. Her methods and playful techniques kept him engaged and helped him reach the speaking level of his peers.
