I am a licensed speech-language pathologist who works with children of all ages. I graduated with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University.
I’m passionate about helping children affected by articulation disorders, phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), language delays, and developmental language disorder (DLD). I stay updated on the most recent research in the field. I am a registered member of Apraxia Kids, and have completed the Meaningful Speech training and certification for gestalt language processing.
I hold my speech-language pathologist license through the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, and I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
From my previous years of experience working in an elementary school and a clinic, it’s become clear to me that play-based sessions are the most effective for my clients. I incorporate my love for play and silliness into each session, finding which approach works best for each individual.

Always Applying The Latest Research
Speech-Language Pathology is a constantly evolving field. Staying in touch with the latest research is critical. I am trained in DTTC (Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing) as well as the principles of motor learning for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Gestalt/Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) for autism, and both the Complexity Approach and Cycles for phonological disorders. I am always taking new courses and keeping up with the latest research in the field.
